American singer Cat Janice, who went viral after her hit ‘Dance You Outta My Head,’ has lost her battle with sarcoma cancer at the age of 31. Her family revealed that Cat peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones at her childhood home.

The family expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support they received during Cat’s challenging months. They acknowledged that viral musician’s music had reached unexpected places, and she found solace in knowing that her art would continue to provide for her 7-year-old son. Her brother, posting on her official Instagram handle, assured fans that there’s more of Cat’s music to come, which will be released in due time.

It’s noteworthy that Cat Janice had teased a new song on TikTok just last month, bravely discussing her ongoing battle with cancer and urging fans to pre-save the upcoming track. She emphasized that all proceeds from her work would be directed towards supporting her young son.

The heartbreaking news has prompted an outpouring of condolences from thousands of social media users.
