Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, has offered a royal visit to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi and her family. This generous offer comes in recognition of her courageous act in saving a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market.
The Saudi diplomat conveyed this invitation during a meeting with ASP Syeda Shehrbano at the Saudi embassy, where he hosted the brave police officer. Ambassador Al-Malki commended her bravery and assured that the Saudi government would cover the expenses for her and her family’s travel to Saudi Arabia as royal guests.
During their conversation, the ambassador praised ASP Syeda Shehrbano for her selfless dedication to duty and her professional handling of a volatile situation. He acknowledged the importance of her role in maintaining peace and security.
Earlier, ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi had called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters. General Munir highlighted the significant contributions of Pakistani women in various fields, expressing appreciation for their talent, tenacity, and commitment.
In recognition of her outstanding service, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Usman Anwar, has recommended Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi for the Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal (QPM), adding another accolade to her commendable career.
