George Galloway wins Rochdale by-election

Famous British politician George Galloway won the by elections. The left-wing politician won the seat of Rochdale by 12,350 votes.

In Rochdale, Muslims have 30% of the population. Where the voter turnout was 49%. 18% of the votes went to George Galloway.

He named his victory to the Gaza war victims. While addressing the government he said that the government will pay the price because they were in favor of Gaza war.

His victory highlights the differences that exist in Britain about the Israel-Hamas war, which is now in its fifth month and has prompted protests on British streets in favor of both sides.
