In a major boost to Pakistan’s agricultural sector, a substantial shipment of cutting-edge farming equipment from China has made its way into the country under the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI). The convoy, originating from China, recently entered Pakistan through the Khunjerab Pass, covering an impressive 5800 km journey.
As part of the GPI program, this consignment includes 20 tractors, a state-of-the-art drip irrigation system, hose reel-based irrigation system, along with a satellite and drone intelligent control platform. Among the technological wonders are the Smart Agriculture Management Platform and the Smart Agriculture Internet of Things (IOT).
The convoy is on its way to Cholistan, its final destination. This move is anticipated to revolutionize the country’s irrigation methods, bringing innovation and efficiency to the agricultural landscape. The introduction of advanced technology is not only expected to enhance agricultural practices but also play a crucial role in improving Pakistan’s industrialization system.
This landmark initiative is poised to usher in prosperity and development, marking a significant step forward for Pakistan’s agricultural and technological advancement under the Green Pakistan Initiative.
