Pakistan Army is actively engaged in rescue and relief operations in the Gwadar Division. As part of their assistance to the public, the Army has already distributed a substantial 25 tons of ration to over 1470 families. This aid includes 3281 relief packages, comprising 50 tons of ration and medicines valued at Rs1.2 million.
The distribution of essential supplies extends to areas such as Gwadar, Sarbandan, and Jiwani. The Army’s involvement doesn’t stop there – they have set up 17 flood relief medical camps and 15 mobile medical camps, where more than 4783 patients, including men, women, and children, have received treatment.
To ensure the well-being of the local population, awareness brochures have been disseminated, outlining precautionary measures. The focus is on averting rain-related illnesses, such as respiratory issues, skin infections, urinary tract infections, and gastro-intestinal diseases.
This tireless dedication reflects the commitment of the Pakistan Army to the welfare of the people in Gwadar Division, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and support during challenging times.
