Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given the green light for the use of her helicopter to transport emergency patients. This decision came during a meeting held in Lahore discussing the Air Ambulance Project, where she also announced the upcoming launch of an air ambulance service in Punjab.
Expressing her concern, she shared her sadness after seeing a heart attack patient at a hospital in Sargodha. Furthermore, the Chief Minister announced the start of the Rescue 1122 service on the motorway.
It’s important to note that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had previously highlighted her government’s commitment to providing top-notch healthcare facilities to the people.
In a detailed three-hour session, she talked about restructuring the healthcare system and laid out a solid five-year plan to enhance the health department, improve services at rural health centers (RHCs) and dispensaries, and roll out reforms with strict oversight.
She emphasized the need to ensure that doctors, paramedical staff, medicines, and essential medical equipment are available at all provincial hospitals.
