Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, commonly known as MBS, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for Pakistan in a recent congratulatory phone call with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who assumed office earlier this month.
During the call, MBS extended his congratulations to PM Shehbaz, highlighting the close brotherly ties between the two nations. He also praised the prime minister on his re-election. In response, Shehbaz expressed gratitude for the call and appreciated the warm message sent by MBS upon his assumption of office.
PM Shehbaz conveyed sincere wishes for the health and wellbeing of Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, emphasizing the deep respect and affection the people of Pakistan hold for the Saudi leadership.
Both leaders underscored the historic and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing mutual support during challenging times. Shehbaz commended the Saudi government’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan.
Additionally, Shehbaz extended Ramadan blessings to the Saudi leadership and people, praying for peace and prosperity during the holy month.
Inviting the crown prince to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience, Shehbaz expressed the Pakistani people’s eagerness to warmly welcome MBS, awaiting his response to the invitation.
