Former President Donald Trump has stirred controversy with his recent remarks suggesting that Prince Harry could face deportation from the United States if found to have provided false information on his visa application. Trump made the comments during an interview with TV presenter Nigel Farage on GB News.
Trump emphasized that the Duke of Sussex would not receive special treatment if it’s discovered that he lied about his history of drug use. Harry, who has been residing in the U.S. since 2020, currently resides in a spacious nine-bedroom mansion in Montecito with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
The potential concern arises from revelations in Harry’s autobiography, ‘Spare’, where he openly admitted to using drugs such as cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms in the past. Such admissions could typically lead to complications in a visa application process under U.S. law.
