In a significant diplomatic move, Army Chief General Asim Munir recently held a crucial meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh, the bustling capital of Saudi Arabia. The meeting aimed to bolster security cooperation between the two nations.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir engaged in discussions not only with the Saudi Crown Prince but also with other key figures including Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Chief of General Staff General Fayaz bin Hamid Al Raweli, and Deputy Minister of Defense Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi.
The talks centered on various crucial aspects such as regional peace, security, and bilateral defense issues. Both sides emphasized the longstanding and robust bond between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, highlighting their deep-rooted brotherly relations.
Of particular note was the reassurance from Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who affirmed Saudi Arabia’s enduring support for Pakistan. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia would continue to stand by Pakistan in the future, echoing sentiments of solidarity and collaboration.
