Gunmen attacked the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Complex on Wednesday, but security forces swiftly responded, thwarting the assault and killing eight terrorists linked to the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
Eyewitnesses reported hearing multiple explosions and gunfire at the complex, which houses government offices like the passport office and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Police officials mentioned an explosion preceding the gunfire, with the entire area sealed off by security forces.
A clearance operation is ongoing with security personnel at the site. The Makran Division commissioner confirmed the incident and the number of terrorists killed.
