In a recent development, the conclusion of the Kakul training camp witnessed national cricket captain Babar Azam and all-rounder Imad Wasim sharing their insights and experiences garnered during their time at the prestigious military academy.
Expressing his sentiments, Captain Babar Azam emphasized the value of the physical training camp, highlighting it as his third consecutive participation. Each visit, he asserted, has enriched him with invaluable lessons, underscoring the significance of the training regimen in enhancing his capabilities.
Similarly, Imad Wasim attributed his progress to the comprehensive nature of the camp, particularly focusing on his rehabilitation and strength-building exercises. He deemed the camp instrumental in refining his skills, thus deeming it highly beneficial for his personal development.
The training camp, which commenced a week prior, saw the entirety of the Pakistan Cricket Team engrossed in an intensive program meticulously curated by seasoned instructors at the Army School of Physical Training Kakul in Abbottabad. Running from March 28 to April 9, the camp comprised various physical fitness drills aimed at honing the players’ athleticism and fostering team camaraderie.
With a resolute emphasis on discipline and unity, the training regimen aims to propel the players to greater heights on the cricket field, thereby elevating the overall performance of the Pakistani cricket squad.
