In a surprising revelation, Bushra Ansari, a revered television icon, has confirmed her second marriage with renowned film director Iqbal Hussain. The announcement was made in a candid manner during a vlog on Ansari’s YouTube channel, where the couple shared insights into their relationship and challenged societal norms regarding age and marriage.
The couple recounted their initial encounter on the set of the popular serial “Sita Bagri” in 2016, where they found common ground in their experiences of divorce and being single. Hussain fondly reminisced about proposing to Ansari during this time, sparking a journey of companionship that defied conventional expectations.
Speaking about her journey post-divorce, Ansari revealed, “It took me a year and a half to come to terms with my divorce, and I never envisioned remarriage until I met Iqbal.” She emphasized the importance of embracing new beginnings, especially when genuine companionship is found later in life.
Both Ansari and Hussain expressed gratitude for the support of their friends and family, particularly mentioning veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari and others within their inner circle. They highlighted the encouragement they received despite initial concerns about societal and familial reactions.
Hussain stressed the need to normalize marrying older women in society, stating, “If two people have the option and there are no family conflicts, they should not hesitate to take the leap into marriage.” This sentiment challenges prevailing stereotypes and advocates for gender equality in marital choices.
The couple’s decision to openly discuss their relationship and marriage serves as a testament to breaking barriers and embracing love and companionship at any stage of life. Their story encourages a reevaluation of societal norms surrounding age and marriage, promoting a more inclusive and accepting culture.
