The pre-wedding celebrations of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shehrbano Naqvi have been marked by a series of vibrant events, with the latest being a captivating Qawwali night that left attendees spellbound.
Held on Tuesday night, the Qawwali event featured the renowned artist Zeeshan Ali, whose melodious voice enraptured the audience. Among the attendees was actress Dur-e-Fishan, adding a touch of glamour to the star-studded affair.
The groom-to-be, Syed Ishtiaq Naqvi, hails from the prestigious Mandi Bahauddin family, known for owning the Shah Group of Companies and the Royal Swiss Hotel Lahore. Additionally, his family is involved in various businesses including a petrol pump and construction ventures. The much-awaited baraat procession is set to arrive from Mandi Bahauddin, the ancestral home of the groom’s family.
While the nikkah ceremony of ASP Shehrbano Naqvi and Syed Ishtiaq Naqvi took place a few months ago, it was the recent Ichra mob incident that propelled Shehrbano Naqvi to overnight fame. Her courageous intervention in rescuing a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Ichhra area garnered widespread acclaim and admiration.
In recognition of her bravery, Shehrbano Naqvi has been nominated for the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal, the highest honor for valor in law enforcement in Pakistan.
As the wedding festivities continue in full swing, all eyes are set on the main event scheduled for April 28th at the Royal Swiss Hotel Lahore. The event is anticipated to be a grand affair, with dignitaries, celebrities, and well-wishers eagerly awaiting the union of the esteemed couple.
