Under the banner of the “Ilm Tolo Da Para” initiative, spearheaded by the Pakistan Army, a group of young individuals hailing from North Waziristan embarked on a transformative three-day excursion aimed at enlightenment and enjoyment.
The spirited journey saw the participants immersing themselves in the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Islamabad, as they explored some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks. Among the notable sites visited were the majestic Faisal Mosque, Ayub Park, Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Pakistan Monument Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, and the picturesque Lake View Park.
At the awe-inspiring Faisal Mosque, the youths were treated to a special congregation led by the Imam, who provided them with a profound insight into the significance of the mosque and its enduring role in shaping the nation’s history.
During their visits to the People’s Heritage and Pakistan Monument museums, the young participants gained a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and struggles that marked Pakistan’s inception, fostering a heightened appreciation for their nation’s rich heritage.
Ayub National Park emerged as a hub of excitement and adventure for the enthusiastic youths, who eagerly indulged in thrilling rides, games, and other recreational activities, forging enduring memories of camaraderie and fun.
In a gesture of sincere appreciation, the youth extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for orchestrating this enlightening experience, which seamlessly blended education with recreation, leaving an indelible impact on their minds and hearts.
