ICC unveils official anthem for men’s T20I World Cup 2024

With only a month remaining until the commencement of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the tournament’s official anthem, featuring a collaboration between renowned music and sports personalities.

Grammy award-winning artist Sean Paul and Soca superstar Kes have joined forces to produce the anthem titled ‘Out of this World’ for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The release of the official anthem, occurring precisely 30 days ahead of the tournament, ignites enthusiasm and sets the stage for cricket’s premier T20 event, comprising 20 teams competing in 55 matches.

Produced by Michael “Tano” Montano, the anthem debuted alongside its music video, boasting appearances by esteemed sports figures such as eight-time Olympic gold-medalist Usain Bolt, cricket luminaries Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, and Stafanie Taylor, as well as USA bowler Ali Khan, among other Caribbean personalities.

‘Out of this World’ is available for streaming on various digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, JioSaavn, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Additionally, fans are encouraged to embrace the tournament’s spirit by crafting their interpretations of the anthem’s dance hookstep, showcased in the accompanying music video.

Commenting on the collaboration, Grammy Award winner Sean Paul expressed his excitement, stating, “This song is all about positive energy and Caribbean pride… bringing the party to stadiums across the West Indies and USA.”

Soca Superstar Kes echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the anthem’s embodiment of cricket’s vibrant culture and energy, serving as a unifying force for spectators.

With anticipation at its peak, additional tickets for select matches will be released today at 10 AM Antigua Standard Time via the official website. Furthermore, ticket box offices across the West Indies, including locations in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago, will commence sales today.
