In a display of sheer dominance, Pakistan’s field hockey team secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Korea in their second match of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on Sunday. The showdown, held in Ipoh, Perak, saw Pakistan assert their prowess early on and maintain control throughout the game.
The match kicked off with Pakistan setting a blistering pace, with Hannan Shahid notching the first goal just three minutes into the game through a powerful field goal. This initial strike laid the groundwork for Pakistan’s commanding performance.

This triumph follows Pakistan’s nail-biting victory over Malaysia in their opening match, where Abu Mahmood secured a last-minute winner, resulting in a thrilling 5-4 win for Pakistan.
With their sights set on further success, Pakistan’s next challenge comes in the form of Japan on May 7, at the same venue. As they continue their campaign in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, Pakistan aims to maintain their winning momentum and further solidify their position as a powerhouse in international field hockey.
