In a thrilling match at the 30th edition of the Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia, Abu Bakar Mahmood showcased his prowess on Wednesday, powering Pakistan to a comfortable victory against Canada.

Mahmood’s stellar performance included scoring two goals for Pakistan, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Rana Waheed Ashraf, Liaqat Arshad, and Ali Ghazanfar also made valuable contributions, each scoring a goal.

This victory marked Pakistan’s third win in the tournament, with previous triumphs over Malaysia and South Korea. Despite a tough match against Japan, the team managed to secure a draw.

Abu Bakar Mahmood’s outstanding display earned him the well-deserved man of the match award, highlighting his impact on the game.

Looking ahead, the Pakistan team is set to face New Zealand in their final group stage match on May 10, aiming to maintain their winning momentum in the tournament.
