In yet another twist to the tumultuous saga surrounding the Siddiqui family, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s older brother, Ayazuddin Siddiqui, finds himself in legal trouble once again. Ayazuddin has been arrested on forgery-related charges, plunging the family into an unforeseen crisis.
The charges stem from an alleged fraudulent activity involving the issuance of an order letter to the consolidation department, purportedly under the authority of the District Magistrate court. This letter was connected to an ongoing land dispute, specifically a farming land disagreement with an individual named Javed Iqbal.
Investigations revealed that the order letter in question was counterfeit. The District Magistrate, upon discovering the deception, filed a complaint in March 2024. Consequently, Ayazuddin and his alleged accomplice, Javed, now face charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including cheating, forgery of valuable security, forgery for the purpose of cheating, and using as genuine a forged document.
This is not the first time Ayazuddin Siddiqui has found himself entangled in legal troubles. In 2018, he was embroiled in a scandal involving the purported posting of an offensive picture on social media, resulting in charges related to offending religious sentiments.
The recurring legal issues surrounding Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s family have brought significant attention to his personal life, further complicating his efforts to balance professional commitments amidst familial challenges.
