In a significant move towards promoting sustainable transportation, Hasho Group, in collaboration with Dewan Motors Private Limited, has announced a major initiative to expand Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure across Pakistan.
This groundbreaking partnership will see the phased installation of EV chargers across Hasho Group’s extensive network of hospitality properties. These include the five-star Pearl Continental hotels, four-star PC Legacy hotels, and three-star Hotel One locations. The chargers will be compatible with European standard vehicles, ensuring a broad range of EVs can be serviced.
The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has played a crucial role in promoting these green initiatives, underscoring the collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors in advancing Pakistan’s environmental goals.
“We are excited to partner with Dewan Motors in this ambitious project,” said a spokesperson for Hasho Group. “This initiative not only aligns with our sustainability agenda but also enhances convenience for our consumers by providing them with essential EV charging facilities.”
The initiative underscores the commitment of both Hasho Group and Dewan Motors to environmental responsibility and sustainable development. By expanding EV infrastructure, the companies aim to contribute significantly to Pakistan’s progress towards a greener future.
The Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI), a flagship program of the SIFC, is at the forefront of efforts to reduce the nation’s carbon footprint. The collaboration between Hasho Group and Dewan Motors is a pivotal step in supporting GPI’s mission and achieving a sustainable and eco-friendly Pakistan.
