Interior Minister Announces Policy to Revoke and Deny Passports for Pakistanis Seeking Refuge Overseas

In a significant move aimed at bolstering national security, the Ministry of Interior has announced a new policy concerning Pakistani citizens seeking asylum abroad. According to an official statement, passports for these individuals will no longer be issued, and existing passports will be canceled and not renewed.

This decision was communicated through a letter dispatched to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant authorities. The letter explicitly states that any Pakistani seeking refuge in another country on any grounds will be subject to these stringent measures.
