Today marks the longest day and shortest Night of the year 2024

Today will witness the longest day and shortest night of the year, according to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz. In Islamabad, daylight will stretch to 14 hours and 32 minutes, leaving the night at a brief 9 hours and 28 minutes.

Sardar Sarfraz also noted that in Karachi, the day will last for 13 hours and 41 minutes, while the night will be 10 hours and 19 minutes. He highlighted that after July 1, the length of the day will begin to decrease gradually. December 22 is expected to mark the shortest day and longest night of the year.
