Federal Law Minister Reacts to SC Verdict on Reserved Seats

Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar has addressed the Supreme Court’s recent ruling concerning reserved seats, emphasizing that the decision poses no threat to the current government’s stability.

Speaking to the press, Minister Tarar asserted, “There is no threat to the government from the Supreme Court’s decision; we still have a majority of 209 members.” This statement aims to reassure the public and political analysts regarding the ruling coalition’s robustness.

Minister Tarar also highlighted that the Supreme Court’s decision is not yet finalized, leaving the door open for potential further legal actions. “The decision has not yet been completed,” he said, adding, “We cannot say whether the government will file a review petition or not.”

The government’s next steps will likely be influenced by the final details of the Supreme Court’s judgment, which are still forthcoming.
