Imran Expresses Willingness to Negotiate With Army

In an unexpected turn of events, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan expressed his willingness to negotiate with the army during an informal conversation with journalists at the courtroom in Adiala Jail. Imran Khan stated, “We are ready to negotiate with the army. Let the army appoint its representative, and we will negotiate.”

When asked by a journalist why he wishes to negotiate with the army despite accusing them, and not with political parties, Khan clarified, “We did not accuse the army; we only criticized it. What is SIFC and who is Mohsin Naqvi? There is an undeclared martial law in the country, and Mohsin Naqvi is their representative, he has reached here through them.”

Journalists further inquired if Imran Khan would negotiate if Mohsin Naqvi was given the authority to do so. Khan firmly replied, “He will never talk to Mohsin Naqvi. He has oppressed us along with IG Punjab while Maryam Nawaz is also a fascist.”

Imran Khan continued, recounting his abduction from the judicial complex, after which Chief Justice Amir Farooq declared it lawful. “Justice Amir Farooq is requested to recuse himself from my cases. There are other judges in the High Court, and the cases should be assigned to someone else,” he added.

Furthermore, the PTI founder emphasized that any member of Tehreek-e-Insaaf involved in the events of May 9 should be punished. He accused the government of attempting to create a rift between PTI and the army to dismantle the party.
