Ministry Denies Claims of Lack of Support for Arshad Nadeem

The Inter-Provincial Coordination Ministry has dismissed reports suggesting that star athlete Arshad Nadeem did not receive financial support during his training.

In an official statement, the ministry clarified that the government has consistently provided full financial and technical support to Arshad Nadeem throughout his career. The ministry emphasized that both the Pakistan Sports Board and the Athletics Federation have ensured that all necessary arrangements were made for his training, both in Pakistan and abroad.

The ministry also revealed that in the last three years, Arshad Nadeem received cash prizes totaling Rs 22 million. Furthermore, it was noted that Rs 690 million has been allocated to the Athletics Federation for the 2023-24 financial year.
