The Bangladesh men’s cricket team arrived in Lahore from Dhaka on Tuesday to play a two-Test series against Pakistan.
The team was taken to a private hotel with strict security from the Allama Iqbal Airport. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Bangladesh team will rest at the hotel today. They will train at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on August 14, 15, and 16.
The team will travel to Islamabad on August 17. The first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start on August 21 in Rawalpindi. The second Test will be played from August 30 to September 3 in Karachi.
Pakistan’s Test captain, Shan Masood, spoke at a press conference on Sunday. He said it is time to move on from the past, including the T20 World Cup 2024. “Whatever happened in the World Cup is now in the past. We must always move forward,” Masood said.
