Army leads Green Pakistan campaign in Malam Jabba

In a concerted effort to preserve natural beauty and promote environmental sustainability, the Pakistan Army has taken the lead in the Green Pakistan campaign, planting over 20 thousand saplings in the picturesque region of Malam Jabba.

Joined by various stakeholders including the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department, district administration, local communities, and students, the Pakistan Army has spearheaded the ambitious initiative aimed at combating deforestation and enhancing tourism prospects.

Throughout March and April, the verdant hills of Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Dir, and Chitral have witnessed extensive tree planting activities, all coordinated by the Pakistan Army under the Green Pakistan campaign umbrella. This proactive approach has garnered widespread public appreciation for the military’s commitment to environmental conservation.

Malam Jabba, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and skiing resorts, is poised to flourish as a symbol of natural splendor, thanks to the ongoing efforts of the Pakistan Army and its partners. By engaging in hands-on conservation activities, the initiative not only aims to attract tourists but also instill a sense of environmental responsibility among the local populace.

The Green Pakistan campaign, under the stewardship of the Pakistan Army, underscores the nation’s commitment to combatting climate change and safeguarding its natural heritage for future generations. With initiatives like these, Pakistan is taking significant strides towards a greener and more sustainable future.
