Women unsafe in extremist Modi’s India

In recent developments that have sent shockwaves across India, allegations of widespread sexual assault and misconduct against women have surfaced, casting a grim shadow over the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Under Modi’s regime, concerns have intensified regarding the safety and security of women, with reports indicating that Indian women feel increasingly insecure in their own land. The emergence of these allegations comes amid growing scrutiny of the treatment of women by individuals associated with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

One such alarming case involves Prajul Revana, a prominent BJP ally, who stands accused of perpetrating heinous crimes against women. Shockingly, Revana has been accused of raping over 400 women, a revelation that has stunned the nation.

According to reports from Indian media outlets, Revana has managed to evade justice by fleeing to Germany, despite the gravity of the accusations leveled against him. The allegations against Revana have ignited controversy, particularly as India approaches a general election, raising questions about the accountability of those in positions of power.

Disturbingly, it is alleged that Revana exploited over 2,800 videos documenting the abuse of women to further his criminal activities, using them as tools for blackmail. Victims have come forward with harrowing accounts of their ordeals, recounting instances of repeated sexual assault and threats on their lives.

The Modi government faces mounting criticism for its perceived inaction in addressing these egregious crimes. Victims have accused the government of turning a blind eye to their plight, despite repeated appeals for intervention.
