Following the conclusion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Council of Foreign Ministers (SCO-CFM) meeting in Astana, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has embarked on a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. Accompanying him is Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev.
During his visit to Bishkek, the Deputy Prime Minister will engage with Pakistani nationals residing in Kyrgyzstan, including those currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained amid recent developments in the region. This outreach underscores the Pakistani government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens abroad.
In addition to these engagements, Senator Dar will hold discussions with Foreign Minister Kulubaev concerning the welfare of Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan. Key topics on the agenda include addressing the students’ concerns and ensuring the continuity of their education during any temporary stays in Pakistan.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit highlights the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan and underscores Pakistan’s dedication to supporting its nationals, whether through diplomatic engagement or direct assistance.
This visit marks another step in the ongoing collaboration between the two countries, aiming to foster mutual understanding and cooperation on various fronts.
