In an exciting development for cricket fans, Pakistan team captain Babar Azam will now play under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan in Canada’s Global T20 League. Rizwan has been appointed as the captain of the Vancouver Knights, a team that also includes notable Pakistani players Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali.
Joining this star-studded squad are South Africa’s Devine Pretorius and Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichane. The Vancouver Knights, in a nod to Rizwan’s leadership qualities, have even added the title “Sir” to his name in their announcement.
“Sir Rizwan is ready to lead the team to victory with strong batting and fast wicket keeping,” stated the Vancouver management, highlighting their confidence in his abilities.
The Global T20 League is set to take place in Canada from July 25 to August 11, promising an exhilarating display of cricket talent from around the world.
