Pakistani youth teams are making headlines in the ongoing Norway Cup 2024. The U15 team from Better Future and the U17 team from Muslim Hands FC have both reached the semi-finals in their respective categories.
In a thrilling match, the Pakistan Street Child Football Team triumphed over Germany’s JSG Leintal with a 3-2 victory. The winning goal was scored in the final moments of the game. Mohammad Kashif scored two goals and Mohammad Junaid added one more. The Pakistani community in Norway celebrated this exciting win.
The U17 team will now face Norway’s Forde IL in the semi-final, which will take place later today.
Meanwhile, the U15 team from Better Future Pakistan defeated Norway’s Forde IL 1 with a 3-0 score in the quarter-final. Subhan Karim scored two goals, and Shahbaz Ali scored one, leading their team to the semi-final. They will compete against Norway’s Varegg Fotball 1 in the U15 semi-final, also happening later today.
It’s worth noting that in the Norway Cup 2023, Muslim Hands FC reached the final but lost on penalties 10-9 to Sola FK. Despite this, they remained undefeated throughout the tournament and showcased their skills by scoring a total of 28 goals and conceding only three.
The Pakistani youth teams have proven their ability to win matches with impressive performances and high scores.
