Pakistani mixed martial artist Irfan Mehsood has made headlines once again by breaking two more Guinness World Records, further solidifying his place in the record books. Mehsood, 33, hails from the South Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and is now the first Pakistani to hold an astonishing 100 Guinness World Records, achieving this milestone in less than eight years.
In his latest feat, Mehsood lifted a 40-pound weight using only his toe for an incredible 3 minutes and 20 seconds. This shattered the previous record of 1 minute and 32 seconds, which was held by Marcello Ferri of Italy. The achievement was reported by the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) on Wednesday.
Mehsood is no stranger to breaking records. He revealed that he has set 46 Guinness World Records in various push-up categories and 31 records involving lifting a 100-pound weight. His accomplishments don’t stop there—he also holds a world record for lifting a 70 kg weight with his toe.
The martial artist’s record-breaking efforts span a wide range of physical activities. “I have set records for push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, side jumps, high jumps, star jumps, and more,” he shared.
Over the years, Mehsood has taken on and surpassed world records held by athletes from 16 different countries, including the United States, Great Britain, India, China, and Italy, among others.
Irfan Mehsood’s remarkable achievements not only highlight his extraordinary physical strength and determination but also put Pakistan on the map in the world of Guinness World Records.
