On November 3, 2023, the entire nation mourned the loss of Naik Muhammad Sajjad Shaheed, a fearless soldier of the Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom in defense of his motherland. Naik Muhammad Sajjad, hailing from Mianwali, exhibited unparalleled bravery as he fought against the enemies of peace in Pasni, Balochistan.
Naik Muhammad Sajjad Shaheed is survived by his parents, widow, and children. His family, though grief-stricken, expressed profound pride and resilience.
“I am deeply saddened by the separation of my son, but Allah is with those who are patient,” said his mother, with tears in her eyes yet pride in her voice.
His father added, “My son was a trust from Allah Almighty, and Allah took him back. I pray for my son all the time and thank Allah for his martyrdom. My son was very good and obedient, and he never disobeyed me.”
With unwavering pride, he continued, “The pain of martyrdom is immense, but I am very happy in the pleasure of Allah. My son longed for martyrdom since childhood. I am immensely proud that my son was martyred and earned respect from the whole country.”
The mother of the martyr, reflecting on her son’s life, said, “My son was very capable and intelligent. He was brave and courageous, fighting fiercely against the terrorists. Sajjad was dedicated to the army from childhood and sacrificed himself for the country, fulfilling my deepest wish.”
She poignantly recalled their last conversation, “The last time I spoke to my son, he told me he would come on leave after three months. I am heartbroken by his martyrdom, but I pray to Allah for strength and patience. My son was so attached to me that he couldn’t live without me.”
The nation stands united in honoring Naik Muhammad Sajjad Shaheed, whose ultimate sacrifice serves as a beacon of courage and patriotism for all.
